Tailtab is a pet medication tracker and reminder for dogs and cats, published by 1213 Studios. If something isn't working, the answers below cover the most common questions. Still stuck? Email japanjoshi1234@gmail.com and include your iPhone model and the app version (Settings, at the bottom of the screen). We usually reply within two working days.
Press and hold (or swipe left and tap View) on a Tailtab reminder to see Given and Snooze 15 min. Given marks the dose without opening the app and stops the follow-up reminders.
Tap the green check on the dose in Today and confirm Mark as not given. A skipped dose works the same way. Reminders for that dose start again.
Choose Monthly when adding the medication and set the next dose date. Tailtab reminds you on the same date every month; a dose set on the 31st comes on the last day of shorter months.
Your data stays on your iPhone and is never uploaded. Before switching, open Settings → Back up data and save the file to Files, iCloud Drive or email. On the new phone, install Tailtab and use Settings → Restore from backup. Pet photos are included.
Premium is tied to your Apple ID. On a new phone or after reinstalling, open Settings → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Yearly can be cancelled any time in your App Store account settings.
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Remove a pet in the app to delete its medications and history, or delete the app to remove everything. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Tailtab reminds you; it does not give veterinary advice or suggest doses. If you are unsure about a dose, or think your pet has had too much or too little, contact your vet or an emergency animal clinic.
